About us:

Grow OT Therapy is a small client-centered private business providing individualised mobile and clinic-based services for children and adults throughout Adelaide, South Australia. Currently, we are a team of 2 Occupational Therapists and 2 Allied Health Assistants. We are in high demand for our services due to word of mouth recommendations and connections with other providers.

We currently have a clinic based office at the Good Hub in Goodwood. We strongly value working as a team, and collaborating with other health professionals to provide the best outcomes for our clients and families.

Role description:

We are seeking motivated and friendly Occupational Therapists to join our growing team! Full-time, Part-time and casual positions are available.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with a mixed caseload of predominantly paediatric as well as young people and adult clients with a range of disabilities including autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, physical disabilities, etc.

  • Manage assessments, planning, intervention and evaluations of children and adult occupational performance outcomes of NDIS participants.

  • Complete comprehensive documentation, Occupational Therapy evidence-based assessments, functional capacity assessments and NDIS reports.

  • Work in a variety of settings within the community consisting of clinic, client’s home environment, community centres, childcare centres and schools.

  • Actively collaborate and liaise closely with clients, families, allied health professionals and other stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for clients and their families.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and with AHPRA registration.

  • A Working With Children's Check (WWCC), Police Check, Child Safe Environments (CSE) and Reporting Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) masterclass certification, Catholic Education Clearance (or willing to obtain).

  • Minimum 2 year’s experience.

  • Previous experience working with children and adults.

  • Previous experience and knowledge of NDIS including completing detailed and comprehensive NDIS reports, functional capacity assessments, documentation and Occupational Therapy evidence-based assessments and reports.

  • Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with and support children, adults, families and staff.

  • Excellent written skills to complete a range of occupational therapy assessments, documentation, reports and interventions.

  • Exemplary time management and organisational skills.

  • Current driver’s license and your own reliable car.
